Mr. Lorcno Hansen has a force of men at work In his creamery putting In n new boiler. This is the llrst dairy that was started In Wellsville, (If not In Cache county,) and it Is doing do-ing a thriving business, turning out a llrst class article of cheese. Tho business busi-ness Is conducted under the ablo management man-agement of Oeorgo Spence, assisted by his biothcr, Alexander Spence. On the 10th the lollowlng three couples were married In the Logan Temple; Hay Hall, of Wellsville, and Miss Alice Kuttlc, of Collego ward; Henry Simpson and Mrs. Delilah Williams, Wil-liams, of Wellsville; and Alexander Fletcher, of Itock Springs. Wyoming, and Miss Margaict Williamson, of Wellsville. A "weight dance" was given fn the new pavilion Wednesday night. A nice prize was given to the heaviest couple and also to the lightest couple. John 1'oppleton and Ivv Cobtirn, and Hlmcr Bailey and May Maughan were the heaviest couples, and tho lightest couple was Fred H. Cooper and Miss Hannah Spcnec. Tho Farmers Union Dairy Co 5:eld their annual meeting on the 8th and deflated a dividend of .'to per cent., fifteen per cent cash and fifteen per cent stock. Tho company Is doing a good buslnes uuder the able siipeiln-tendency siipeiln-tendency of Walter W. Jones, assisted bv David L. Kerr and Kdmond Walters. On the 1-th a grand ball was given in the new pavilion for tho benefit of the tabernacle. The house was well filled and as the company gave the hall and music free, very handsome stun was turned over to Bishop Owen, which was very much appreciated The water users should not forget the meeting at tho Cache Commeiclal Club today at one o'clock. The meeting meet-ing Is for tho purpose of effecting an organisation. The IlutchKon troupe played two nights In the Wellsville hall last week and each night had a full house. |
