V Thatcher stated that it became his painful duty to an-1 an-1 nounce to the Board of Directors that, since their last quarterly meeting, one of their honored and esteemed members, the Honorable David H Peery, has I been called away by death, where I upon the following was introduced introduc-ed by Director Moses Thatcher and unanimously yassed Whereas, under the dispensation dispensa-tion of Providence an honored and esteemed member of the direct; ry !of Thatcher' Brothers' Banking ! Company has been removed ! through death to a higher sphere j of action, therefore, .. , ' j 1 Be it resolved, that in the' i death of the Honorable ii'avid H. Peery of Ogden City, Weber county, Utah, tl is Bank has sustained irreparable loss; 1 for we recognized in the deceased ! one of Utah's foremost financiers, finan-ciers, an honest, capable man, a courageous and conscientious citizen, devoted friend and a geninl companion. As a business man his character char-acter was above reproach, his love of truth, devotion to principle prin-ciple and integrity in all things nlaeed his reputation among the highest. rie was one of the original in- corporators, and from the be-i ginning has continuously seryed as cne"of the directors of this iBank.
