Show Nominate i for Yayor b fjamocratic City Convention The Democrats of Logan met in city convention in the county court house last Saturday morning morn-ing at 11 o'clock. The gathering gather-ing was called to order by Chairman Chair-man Frank K. Nebeker. L. K. Martineau was named as temporary tempo-rary chairman and Lewis Cardon as temporary secretary. Upon reconvening at 1:30 p.m. the various committees reported and the temporary organization was made permanent. Mrs. N. W. Haws and T. H. Cutler were elected vice chairmen, chair-men, John Bench chaplain, and "Victor Crockett sergeant at arms. Chairman Martineau made a brief but eloquent address, in which he urged harmony and 'energy in the coming campaign. I By the way nominations were refused at the convention it was plaiidy evident that the Democrats Demo-crats do not expect a walkover. A. G Barber declined the nomination nom-ination for mayor, George Adam Ad-am for marshal, and L. N. Councilmen G. P. Wright, Julius Jenson, Lars Peterson, Wm. Squires, C. L. Anderson.
