Show Fell Down a Well. H. A. Allen met death in a deep well on the T. A. Wright place, near Woodland Wood-land park, Seattle. He fell from the top- to the bottom of the well, a distance dis-tance of sixty-nine feet, and as he fell his head struck obstructions, causing injuries which resulted in death two hours later. He was going beneath the surface to learn the nature of the earth, as he had the digging of a well in prospect on his own place, not far away. He had but started on the descent de-scent when the rope broke and he fell downward. |
