Show was an old soldier of the civil war, having participated in various vari-ous engagements at one of which he was severely wounded. After the war he partic.:pated in one engagement in the Indian uprising. upris-ing. He came to Utah twenty-one twenty-one years ago. Was a machinist by trade and had been working for the U. P. R. R. ever since he came here. Was a prominent Odd-fellow in Rawlins, Wyo. He leaves a wife, one son of his first wife and three children of his second wife, his first. wife having preceded him to . the grave many years. His last wife is a daughter of Mr. W. Stallings of Logan Second ward. The deceased drew a pension from the government as a result of disabilities contracted during active service in the navy. He was an energetic and kind hearted heart-ed citizen and was highly esteemed. I Funeral services will be held in I the Second ward meeting housej today at 12 o'clock; friends and 'local Odd-fellows are cordially invited to attend. Var Veteran 1 Passes Away. J John M. Boyle, of the west-field west-field of Logan, died Friday evening eve-ning at 8 o'clock. He was born in Boston, Mass., Oct 4. lbal. He had been working at Rawlins, Raw-lins, Wyo.. for the last four years He came home last lues-day lues-day ill from the results of a sPvere eld, which later developed de-veloped it to pneumonia, and no died on the above date.
