Show Aid for Clara Morris. Plans for the benefit for Miss Clari Morris, the actress, have taken definite defi-nite shape. The performance will bt held in New York city under the auspices aus-pices of the theatrical profession. Rev. A. F. Underhill, pastor of St. John's Episcopal church, in Yonkers, of which Miss Morris is a member, will act at treasurer of the funds raised. Amelia Bingham, the actress, has agreed to manage the benefit, but the exact data has not been fixed. Among the patrons, pa-trons, many of whom have contributed money, are Bishop Potter, W. C. Whit-ney, Whit-ney, J. P. Morgan, George J. Gould, H. O. Havemeyer, John D. Crimmins and John G. Carlisle. |
