Show Brooklyn's Rabid Transiters. People in Brooklyn are rabid on the subject of transit. They talk of nothing else. Here is the last paragraph para-graph of a letter written to President Winter a day or two ago: "I want to ask one favor of you before I die of pneumonia. I want to take a dog to the Borough of Manhattan, Man-hattan, and, as you can readily see, I do not want to carry him on the regular car3 of your company, because be-cause he is a good dog and worth. ?25 of any man's money. Now, if it isn't asking too much, do you sup-puse sup-puse you could let me know confidentially con-fidentially whether or not you expect ex-pect to send a car through in the next few months that would be fit for a doe?"
