Show Hon. Joseph Howell will leave' j in the next few days for Wash, ington, where he will bo sworn in as a member of the House of Representatives early in March. He will take with him the kindliest kind-liest wishes of his constituents in this county. They will watch with deep interest his career in the national legislature, and with j every confidence that he will doj credit to himself and honor to his state. We who are his near neighbors and friends believe he will make a clean and usefui record in the halls of Congres?, aud that all who come to knowj him will heed his suggestions! and admire his personality even j as we do here at home.
