Show Carnegie to Provide For Aged Telegraphers. Andrew Carnegie has under consideration con-sideration the gift of a large sum of money to be used for the benefit of the aged telegraphers in the eastern section sec-tion of the country, and, it is said, that he intends, when satisfactory plans have been made to extend his charitable bequest so as to include the telegraphers in all parts of the land. The proposition which Mr. Carnegie has in mind are the establishment of a combination club and hospital, a general gen-eral pension found and the founding of an Arcadia in New Jersey. Mr. Carnegie is said to favor the "Arcadia idea. ' |
