EDWARDS Lohl pnld trlbuto to ono of hor sons, Walter Prank Edwards, who gave his llfo for hla country In tho recent war, Thursday when funeral services were conducted over his remains. The services woro hold In tho H. 8 Auditorium under tho direction of tho Lohl Post No. 19 of tho American Legion. Tho body was sent hore from Franco whore death occurred from pnoumonla in 1918. Stanley Taylor had charge of tho sorvices and tho speakors woro Floyd GoateB, Lt. Col. Jorgonson of Salt Lake and Sonntor Edward Southwlck. Councilman W. W. Dlckerson pronounced pro-nounced tho Invocation and councilman council-man M. S. Lott tho benediction. Musical nurahors Included, "Hock of Ages," by MisBes Lillian Knudsen and June Whlpplo; Violin Solo, Mrs. L. Tnmmlncn; Solo "Whon the Angels Have Lifted tho Veil," by William Iladflcld; Solo, "Beautiful Islo" by Mrs. T. F. Klrkham and Solo, "Face to Face" by Miss Lillian Knudson. A large number of citizens paid their last respects by attending tho services and showed much feeling by tho many beautiful floral offerings. Interment was In tho City cemotery. |
