Seven passengers and six fralnmen wore severly Injured and four passengers were slightly Injured, In-jured, when an engine and six cars of passenger train No. 112 on the Oregon Short Line, southbound, left the rails at Xcndu, a small station forty-five miles south of this city, ut 0:05 Saturday Satur-day morning. Tbo train, which was ii dnuhlc-hcador was lu charge of Conductor Korncr and Engineers Thompson and Ilren-nan, Ilren-nan, with K. L. (llllesplo and Hdward Milling, both of this city, as firemen, consisted of two engines, mall car two baggage curs, express cur, two day couches, a private car and four Full-niaiis. Full-niaiis. Tho llrst engluo got over tho derail, but the second engine and all tho cars, except three Pullmans and tho private car left tho track and all turned over, except the llrst engine, which remained uptight. The second engine wm demolished. |
