Show Program of Sporfs For Pioneer Day American Fork to Olebrntc .luly i!l at I'oiirth Ward (iron. The Sunday schoo' of American Fork will havo charge of American Fork's Pioneer Day colcbrntlon. Thoro will be nothing doing In tho forenoon, hut tho afternoon will bo filled with sports nnd athletic contests. Whllo the sports will be of n nature to appeal ap-peal specially to tho children, there will be sports also for tho older ones. Following is the general committee: Elijah Cutler, chairman; Den MofTett, secretary; W. D. Edmunds, Uced Robinson, Rob-inson, li. M. lllackhurst, Virgil Groo, T. S. Hrodbent, Mark Greene, Thomas Able, Earl Greenwood and Leslie Smith. The sports will bo held In the Fourth Ward grove, whore thoro Is an abundance ot shade nnd grass. Earl S. Greenwood was appointed to see the bishop about securing tho grounds .and getting them In slinpu; Vlrgll Groo to build counters, etc.; Messrs. Greenwood, lllackhurst and Ilroadbent to arrange for tho games, etc. Thomas Able and Heed Robinson to arrange the swings, and W. D Edmunds Ed-munds to do tho advertising. The committee will meet tonight and porfect the details for the day's amusements. |
