Before the medicine is given the patient pa-tient chills his mouth thoroughly by chewing cracked ice. Tho medicine may then be given without leaving an oily taste. By chilling the mouth first tho oil will not leave nn oily film, which is responsible for tha tenacity of tho unpleasant taste. |
