There has been another riot at Pana, as a result of which seven aro known to have been killed and a number of others woundedt tho major portion of tho victims being Innocent spectators. Monday he was on tho streets with a revolver, saying ho was looking for Sheriff Downoy. Ho found Downey and commenced shooting. Governor Tanner has Issued a proclamation proc-lamation declaring martial law at Pana. The proclamation created a district comprising tho city of Pana and all territory within one mile thereof and forbids tho carrying of arms within such district. |
