M. Davis, 1). J. Thurman, J. Willie, G. Southwick, James Allen, James War- enip, G. N. Child, J. A. Thomas. Eli Kendall, A.J. Evans, S. Zimmerman, II. D. Wilcox, D. Winn, Mrs Hannah Jones, and Sarah Allied. Tho following rvere selected us alternates: P. H. Ail-red, Ail-red, Jr., J. B. Gaddio, Rachel Gaddie, L. E EvaiiB, James M. Anderssn, and Hannah Anderson. The delegates to the State Convention at Salt Lake City Sept. 14 are: A.M. Davis, T. E. Trane, Jonoph W. Goatos, D. W. Thomas, and A. J. Evans. Tho alternates are : Louis Garil', Mrs. Louis Garfl', Mrs. T. E. Trane, Mrs. G. N. Child und Mrs. Sarnh T. Evans. The primary then voted to endorse A. M. Davis to 1111 tho vacancy caused by the death of W. II. Winn and recommeuded his name be sent to tho chairman of tho Board of County Commissioner. It was also decided to usk at the County Convention for a State Senator and u County Commissioner for Lchi and to endorse A. J. Evan and A.M.Davis respectively for tho positions. Tho Mcrcur Mercury and Ogden Standard, two papers that fought for the Silver Republican movement, have decided to fight for the straight Republcan ticket this fail. ' John Henry Smith has withdrawn from tho raeo for the Republican Congressional Con-gressional nomination. |
