Show On to Cuba. Slowly but surely arrangements are being made for the landing of an America Amer-ica force in Cuba. By Friday the fleet of vessels is expected to be in waiting at the wharyes at Tampa, for the reception of tho United Stalest troops. Theso boats all havo been contracted t for, and have n cairying capacity of about 0,000 troops. It is not believed, howover, that tho embarkation will take place before Sunday. Much icmains to bo done in the way of gathering ammunition and supplit's, and Reveral days must elapse betore all is in readiness. It is believed that the force will be mado -up of 3,000 infantry, 1,000 cavalry and ten batteries of artillery; in all, close to 5,000 men. Only one legiinent of cavalry, tlie Ninth, is now in camp at Tainpaj but tho Tenth, now at .Chickamauga, will, it ia believed, be brought down hero to fill out the quota. |
