Show According to tho notice given tho stockholders of the Lehi Irrigation Co. met in tho meeting houso nt 2 p. ai yesterday. The object of tho meeting was to hear tho financial report and elojt a new board of directors. Chairman Chair-man Bono Vailed tho meeting to order and the secretary read the call and then read the report of tho past year's pro. ceedinfts, which after somo explanation was received. Tho report bIiows tho company to be indebted about $1,800. Aftei tho report came tho election of ofllcors. Several porsons were named for tho first district but Mr. B.S. Lott carried off tho nomination. Morgan T. Woodhouwn and Win. Bone, Jr. were put up for tlio second district. There wan quite an effort made in favor of Mr. Woo'lhouse, but when tho voto was put Mr. Bono proved to bo much tho stronger candidate and carried off tho nomination by a largo majority. For tho third district there woro quite a number of aspirants but Mr. Andrew Peterson proved to bo the strongest and was nominated. Tho fourth diatrict out done tho qther8 for candidates, Mr. Woodhouso coming up again. John Peterson pioved to bo tho choice and received tho nomination. Tlio fifth district had but one candidate, Mr. John Moyle, who was elected by a unanimous vote. This completed tho board which stands, B. S. Lott, Win. Bone, Jr., Andrew Peterson. John Pot rson, and John Moylo. There were several suggestions given to tho boa id after which tho meeting adjourned. i ' ' |
