Show Sprincvllle Beet-Growers. !(PThe Sugar Beet'Growers association held its regular monthly meeting Saturday Satur-day afternoon with a good attendance Tho committee appointad to solicit local subscription of stock reported that its labor was meeting with encouragement, and asked time to prepare and submit a full report. A largo number, of cash subscriptions for stock were tendered, while offers of percentages of crops were general, some of them running as high as "5 rr cent for years. The efforts of the association aro now principally directed toward demostrating to outsido capitalists the fact that Springville is iu earnest in he desire for a sugar factory, and is willing to assist tho enterprise liberally in a financial way. Mfissrs. Snol', Johnson, Kelly and Jensen of the Spanish Fork society woro present, and expressed themselves as being satisHnd with Springvillo'a selection selec-tion of a site, tho location chosen being nearer to Springville. Mapleton is especially active inv furthering tho success of the enterprise. .8 is shown by the enthusiastic way in which her beople tender subscriptions for stock.
