KANAB SCOUTS SWIM kanab scouts will hold a swimming meet at three lakes saturday sept 9 at I 1 p in scouts of other troops are invited to join la in the frolic the main purpose ot of the swim Is to get all first class swimming tests merit badge swimming and lifesaving life saving tests testa passed before winter cots ceta in it la Is especially important that every scout who has not lot passed his first class swimming test shall be there every precaution tor for safety will be taken boys I 1 w who ho cannot swim well will be kept in shallow water as aa convenient and even expert empet swimmers wimmers will not be allowed to cross the lake without being accompanied by a raft and another swimmer A powwow will be held after tire the swim swill to give scouting an all early start on a season of real activity and accomplishment bo be prepared
