Show LETTERS TO THE EDITOR Cedar Jr. H;gh School Students Stu-dents responded in full num-ber num-ber to the Governor's Proclaim, atlon for the week of "The Arts for the Young." The Jr. High Orchestra under un-der the direction of a student teacher Ken Talbot during the absence of June Larsen and the Jr. High Chorus under the , direction of Shirley Roper performed beautifully? with several numbers each for the final PTA meeting of the year held on Wednesday April 25 at 8 p.m. A display of beautiful art's done by the students in Janet Howard's Room. Sewed items and canning of Jellies display were in Mrs. Paxman's Room. Cedar Chest, gun cabinet, tables, iron porch railing and out-door grills were on display dis-play in Mr. Starley's Industrial Indust-rial arts dept. The first presentation slide, tape of the New Cedar Jr. High School Bonding was dis- cussed. But what happened to the 1,000 parents that should have been there to see and hear ; their students perform? i There Is aibout 600 students in the Jr. High School that wer.o involved in the program for "Arts for the young.
