Mr. and Mrs. Ellis Littlefield of Henderson, Nev. are visiting here for two weeks with their daughter, Mrs. Monna Lewis. Mr. and Mrs. Glendon Heaton w ere in Springville over the week end to visit with Mr. and Mrs. Greg Sill. Mrs. Sill, the former Carmen Heaton had surgery last week. Mr. and Mrs. LaMar Matheson were in Hurricane on Monday of last week to visit with Mr. and Mrs. Earl Murie. LaMar and Veda enjoyed a brief visit from Mr. and Mrs. Arbon Hall on Sunday. Mrs. Pearl Halterman received news last week of the birth of a new great granddaughter, grand-daughter, born in Los Angeles to Mr. and Mrs. Allen Halterman. By Veda Matheson Week before last a wedding reception was held in the Enoch Ward Church to honor Mr. and Mrs. Tom Dearden who were married earlier in the day in the Manti Temple. Mrs. Dearden is the former Rhea Nelson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dick Nelson of St. George who are former residents of MidValley. Among those who were here from out of town included the brides parents and two brothers of St. George, her sister Kris from Logan and brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Mark Nelson of California. Also the grooms parents, Mr. 'and Mrs. Carl Dearden and members of their family; Mr. and Mrs.- LaVon Windburg of Salt Lake and Louise Wilcken of Clearfield. This past weekend a wedding reception was held at the Enoch Church to honor Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Bishop. The bride is Marie Matheson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gaylcn Matheson. Among the out of town guests were; Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Johnson, grandparents of the bride, from Farmington; Mr. and Mrs. Ted Johnson and five children of Bountiful; Mrs. Ann Fellers and two children and Mrs. Bruce Johnson and daughter of California; Mrs. Mabel Stephenson of Layton. and Linda and Holly McGee of Farmington. AIfo the parents of the groom, Mr. and Mrs. Jay Bishop and Randy Bishop and the grooms grandparents all of Bountiful. Also Mr. and Mrs. Bert Lowry of Richfield. Mr. and Mrs. Gerry Maxwell were called to LaVerkin last week because of the sudden death of Carma's father. Wickley Gubler.
