Show A LIL BIT OF POETRY ! The other night there came to us suddenly In the 'office of the Press Bulletin a young man all wrought up over some cause or another. We questioned the gentleman and this Is what we found, ell, we will let you read the poem with a little explanation. explana-tion. iHe had lost out in some unfathomable un-fathomable manner, and was all at once enthralled when a young lady passed by, saying that she . looked good to him. Therefore the poetry: There's as many good fish in the sea, . so 'tis said, As ever were pulled to the shore; This solacing bit of philosophy comes From ripe piscatorial lore; ajiu to matters of love it is - oftimes applied, To be proven quite true in the main, So' I guess I'll get ready and bait my hook, t. -For 1 want to 'go fishin' again. The last fish I caught was a beautl-. beautl-. ful fish, And I had her well placed on the hook, . And I played her o nicely 1 really j felt sure . She'd be mine till the end of the book; 'But the line became snarled and she darted away, And 1 lost her, but 141 not complain, She glided away with hook, sinker and line, But 1 want to go fishin' again! The reason I want to go angling once more, ( And I sure hope I soon get my wish) Is because I have found a most wonderful won-derful spot Where disport one most wonderful fish; And as soon as I get all m tackle fixed up I'm going in sunshine or rain, Until I succeed in pulling her In, For I want to go fishin' again! |
