Show Raymond H. Lunt, prominent local Civic and Church leader dies . r A yfi farmer where he was noted as a Breeder of Pure-bred Ram-boulette Ram-boulette Sheep. He also operated the Community Service Station for rpany years in Cedar City. Mr. Lunt is survived by his wife; sons and daughters; Dr. Paul Ray Lunt and Mrs. O. Kent (Laurel) Ilulet both of Cedar City; Myree Cooley of Tonopah, Nev.; U. Robert Lunt and David A. Lunt of Las Vegas, Nevada. Also surviving are 16 grandchildren grand-children and four great grandchildren grand-children and one brother and 3 sisters; Willard Lunt of Cedar City; Corris Ashton, lone Harrington, and Mrs. Gerald (Olive Smith) all of Salt Lake postlude music and Bishop Rett Shakespeare Conducting. Musical selections consisted of Come, Come Ye Saints; God be With You by the Ward Choir acc. by Shirley N. Cowan and a vocal solo He smiled on Me by Ralph R. Hafen acc. by Evelyn Jones. The Invocation was offered by 0. Kent Hulet with Marcus P. Lunt giving the benediction and Dr. Paul R. Lunt dedicating the grave. An Article Reading was given by Sage L. Piatt, Willard Lunt gave his life history and Gerald K. Smith was the speaker with remarks by Bishop Rett Shakespear. Interment was in Cedar City Cemetery. City. Funeral services were held Friday, Dec. 5 in the 6th LDS Ward Chapel Under the Direction of the Spilsbury & Graff Mortuary. Mor-tuary. The family prayer was offered by Dr. Ray E. Lunt with Shirley N. He vas'born Nov. 19, 1889 to Henry iV. and Roselia Grace Hunter in dar City. He married Zelma lories Sept. 29, 1916 in the St. .ieorge Temple. Directly after lis marriage he and his wife erved a mission for the LDS" ,'hui ch in Australia. He taught in he Deaf and Blind School in )gden for a year. He served as a ,'oiinselor in the Cedar First Vard Bishopric. He was elected n the Cedar City Council in 1923 nd 1927. He served on the Stake High Council in the Cedar West Stake nd spent many years as a L'acher in the Sunday School and 'riesthood Quorums. He devoted is life as a Sheepman and |
