I SUSAN COX WILSON Susan Cox Wilson succumbs; service in Hurricane Funeral services for Susan Cox Wilson were held Aug. 16 in the Hurricane First Ward Chapel. She died Aug. 14 at her home in Hurricane of natural causes at age 87. She was born Aug. 29, 1886 In Orderville to Delaun Mills Cox and Susan Brown Cox. On April 3, 1912 she married George Benjamin Wilson in the bait Lake LDS Temple. She was active in the LDS Church serving as a visiting Relief Society teacher, Sunday School librarian, Sunday School Nursery teacher and a genealogical genea-logical worker. She and her husband filled a short term LDS Mission In California. Survivors include her husband, hus-band, Hurricane and the following follow-ing sons and daughters: Car-lyle Car-lyle George, Midvale; Benjamin Benja-min Vere, Cedar City; David Delaun, Hurricane; Mrs. Anthony An-thony (Ruth) Ragozine, Provo; Mrs. Newell (Rose) Frazier, and Mrs. David (Nola) Ruesch, Hurricane and Mrs. Alma (Julia) (Jul-ia) Thomas, Colorado City, Ariz. Also surviving are 38 grandchildren grand-children and 55 great grandchildren. grand-children. Burial was in the Hurricane City Cemetery under the direction di-rection of the Spilsbury and Graff Funeral Home. |
