Show Howard Park, local businessman dies of Heart Attack; services held I I V j y I mhmm liwimiimi irirti mmmsmii M Rita Gertrude Bowden in Goldendale, Washington. Mr. Park was a member of the Lions Club and owned and operated the Park Refrigeration in Cedar City. Survivors include his wife Rita of Cedar City; two sons and two daughters, Richard L. and William M. both of Cedar City, Mrs. Al (Anita) Land of Junction City, Oregon, and Mrs. Ronald (Peggy) Hamblin of Cedar City; four grandchildren. Funeral services were held Wednesday September 7, 1977, at 11:00 a.m. in the Cedar 12th LDS Ward Chapel with Bishop Raymond K. Baker conducing con-ducing Family Prayer was offered by Ricky Park with Jerilyn Slack rendering the prelude and postlude music. The invocation was given by Clark Fransden and speaker was Reed Henderson. A piano solo, "Calm is the Night," was played by Jerilyn Slack. Bishop Baker gave the closing remarks and the benediction was offered by Ira Schoppmann. Dedication of the grave was offered by Bill Park at the Cedar City Cemetery. Pallbearers included: Richard Jefferson, Leon Adams, Ira Schoppmann, Paul Stewart, Clark Fransden, Tom Lambert, Matais Quintanilla and Clifford Meyer. Flowers were taken care of by Gaye Baker, Dorothy Lambert, Louise Adams and Charlotte Boyer. Compassionate service by the Cedar 6th Ward Relief Society.
