of the University to a limited number number number num num- ber of prospective students throughout through through- out Utah and neighboring states The CHRONICLE appreciates the action ac- ac action only be a limited number to this list it is possible that only those who apply first can be THE DRAMATIC CLUB The University Dramatic club dub is working on a play which they will present in Salt Lake on Feb 19 Ig 1904 It is called A Scrap of Pa Pa- per They are holding three to four rehearsals a week and in the absence of Miss Babcock who has been East for the past three weeks Miss Bitner has been directing the work Arrangements are being made for presentations in Murray Bingham J Junction unction Tooele Ogden and Park City The club dub consists of the following people Misses Harker Bitner Tibbetts Parkinson and Snow and Thomas John Johnson son Carlson Mifflin and 1 Marshall arshall The Dramatic club dub should certainly certainly certainly be encouraged There is nothing nothing nothing noth noth- ing that speaks better for a school than such a society Last year every every every ev ev- ery one knows this organization did itself proud Many of the old members are taking part this year be appreciated by the stu stu- dents THE GLEE CLUB At last the University has a glee- glee club The members have been working faithfully for the past few weeks under the direction of Mr Best and are Bachelor Maids last Friday night took advantage of the great opportunity afforded by Leap Year by entertaining in a grand Leap Year Ball I It t was the first social event of the New Year and well did
