Claudia Alexander and Tames L. Littlejohn exchange nuptial vows Miss Claudia Alexander and James L. Littlejohn, Jr. exchanged ex-changed vows in a double ring ceremony December 26 at the Cedar West LDS Stake House. Bishop Richard G Morris Mor-ris officiated. Parents of the bridegroom, Mr. and Mrs. James L. Littlejohn, Little-john, Sr. of Pudacah, Kentuck-y Kentuck-y entertained the bridal party at a dinner at the Sugar Loaf Cafe that evening. The newlyweds were further furth-er feted at a reception at the home of Mr. and Mrs. C.A. Kirkham later that evening The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Alice B. Alexander and the late Phillip W. Alexander. The bride wore a floor length gown of white crushed velvet, trimmed at the cuffs, neck and waist with jeweled beading. The Chapel length veil was attached to a cha-peau cha-peau of petals trimmed with pearls and rhinestones. She carried a bouquet of red roses. Miss Kathleen Bogh was maid of ihonor, and the bridesmaids brides-maids were Misses Ruth Kelly, Diane Nelson, Carol Petty, and Susan Littlejohn. Miss Andrea Leishman was flower girl. The attendants all wore short dresses of red velvet fashioned after the bridal gown and trimmed at the neck and waist with gold braid. Each girl carried a single white camelia with gold streamers. Mr. Littlejohn Sr. stood as best man for his son, and Thomas Sykes ushered. At the guest book was Judy Sherratt. In the giftroom were Mrs. Karen Jacobson and Marilyn Mar-ilyn Williams. Assisting the kitchen were Mrs. LaRene Bradshaw, Mrs. Lois Woodbury, Cindy Woodbury, Wood-bury, Tonya Stevens, Vicky Pratt and Jane Irons. Gift bearers were Tracy and Todd I Kirkham and Ronald Esplin. Mrs. Alexander wore a two piece winter dress with brown and gold accessories. Mrs. Littlejohn Lit-tlejohn wore a soft mint green A line knit dress with matching match-ing accessories. Both dresses were complimented with corsages cor-sages of red roses. For her going away costume the bride chose a black and white double-knit wool dress with black accessories. The newlyweds spent a weekend honeymooning jn Las Vegas enroute to San Francisco, Francis-co, Calif, where they will make their home. Pre-nutial courtesies Included In-cluded a personal shower at New Harmony given for the bride toy Miss Carol Petty and Mrs. Darce Prince. The bride was also feted at a party given by the faculty of the Hayward grade school where she teaches. Mr. Littlejohn graduated from Murray State University. Murray, Ky., with a BS degree de-gree in chemistry in 1957. Ho completed a tour of duty with the U. S. Navy with the rank of Lt. jg. He is now employed as a management trainee for Union Carbide of San Francisco. Fran-cisco. While attending MSU he was affiliated with Sigma Chi fraternity. The new Mrs. Littlejohn attended at-tended Southern Utah State transferred to Utah State University Uni-versity in Logan, at USU she received degrees in Special Education and Elementary Education Ed-ucation in 1968. While in college she was active ac-tive in various musical and school activities. After teaching teach-ing brain damaged children in Salt Lake City, she transferred trans-ferred to Hayward, Calif, where she is now teaching the trainable mentally retarded. |
