Show Area residents show lack of interest in adult education Registration for Adult Education Edu-cation classes in Parowan on Thursday evening Sept. 23, was sparse, according to those in charge. Only 34 people were registered and of this small number, 15 was for oil painting, seven for speed reading, five for gymnastics, three for guitar instruction, one for photography, one for woodwork, one drivers education, educa-tion, one ceramics and one for machine embroidery. Those in charge say that perhaps the times listed were inconvenient for people, and add that if there are at least ten persons interested in any of the classes who can arrive at a common class period, they will be glad to sponsor the class. i |
