Show Shakespearean Festival Guild needs members for staff, cast aid Guild, noted that, "We think the Festival is a wonderful thing for our community. It provides an immeasurable cultural advantage advan-tage for our children. So whether whe-ther we personally like the Shakespearean Drama or not, we should support the Festival." Festi-val." The cast and technicians of the company are all students from Drama Schools throughout through-out the country from Connecticut Con-necticut to California; from Wisconsin to Texas. All are out-standing students, highly high-ly recommended by their schools. They work without pay for the weeks of rehearsal as well as the weeks of the Festival performances. " They I With opening night of the Utah Shakespearean Festival just one week away, membership member-ship in -the -Guild-tias -reached the half-way mark in its goal of 300 members. Of the 150 members who have sent in their 1969 contri-buations, contri-buations, 44 are new members. mem-bers. While this is a good ratio, ra-tio, it also reveals that about half of last year's members have not yet sent in their 1969 contributions. Membership in the Guild is accomplished by donating $5 per person $10 for husband and wife to the Guild. All money received by the Guild is given to the Festival. Contributions Con-tributions are tax-deductible., All checks should be made out to the Shakespearean Festival Guild and sent to Gustin O. Gooding, Box 646, Cedar City. Gooding, president of the do receive meals and lodging and a small honorarium to help pay for incidentals, which includes transportation to and from Cedar City.
