Cedar High School Thespians won first place hon- ors with this entry in the Cedar High School Homecoming parade Friday. Three days of activities feature Cedar Hight School Homecoming Today." Half-time entertainment at the football game was probably prob-ably one of the most exciting events of the week. The Home-coming Home-coming Queen and her attendants attend-ants were presented to the fans. Ann Fenton twirlled fire batons, both CHS marching groups and the CHS marching band performed routines. The Homecoming dance ended the climatic week. The dance hall was decorated by the FHA, and the affair was a huge success. By Kathy Cowan The Cedar City High School Homecoming week reached its climax Friday after whitewashing white-washing the "C" on Wednesday Wednes-day and after a spirit building build-ing pep rally, bon-fire and snake dance Thursday. Friday, the last day of the Homecoming Week, started with an assembly by the Pep Club, depicting the theme "One Day of Your Life." Ann Meyers was the assembly chairman. At the assembly Miss Ember Em-ber Lambert , 1969-70 Homecoming Home-coming Queen, announced the Homecoming Royalty and crowned the 1970-71 royalty, Debra Bunting, second attend ant; Rhonda Perkins, first attendant, at-tendant, and Jan Stocks, Homecoming Queen. The Homecoming parade, al-though al-though short and somewhat windy, waas a great success. The Thespians walked off with first place. Crystal Chamberlain, Chamber-lain, chairman, decorated a-round a-round the theme "Fly on Envious En-vious Time Through the Tragic Tra-gic and Happy Day of Our Lives." The Senior float was awarded second place honors, with the royalty float. Lee Ann Whitaker was chairman. Third place place was awarded to the Junior Class float. Lani Twitchell, chairman, decorated to the theme "The Most Important Im-portant Day of Your Life Is I 1 ! HIGH SCHOOL ROYALTY.
