Stapley of Summit Sum-mit was voted by the Associated Associat-ed Women Students at Brig-ham Brig-ham Young University to the court of the most preferred men for the school year 1970-71. 1970-71. Stapley, along with 11 other BYU men. will be honored during dur-ing the women's week activities activi-ties which began Monday and will run thriugh Saturday. These activities include a banquet ban-quet today, Thursday, a dance Friday and a concert featur-will featur-will run through Saturday. Mike is a former graduate of BYU in 1969 when he received a degree in Political Science and Spanish. He is presently attending graduate school seeking a Masters degree in Public Administration, and is active in many campus affairs af-fairs including Cougar Club wherein he works with the Athletic Office raising funds for travel and recruitment. He is a former employee of Senator Wallace F. Bennett as a research assistant in Washington, Wash-ington, D. C, and is presently working in the Utah State Legislature as the Administrative Administra-tive Assistant to the Majority Leader in the Senate. Mike is well known on campus cam-pus and is constantly being teased about his home town residence. It seems that few students know where Summit is located. |
