Show I PARAGONAH NEWS I young people: Peggy Lamor-eaux, Lamor-eaux, Barbara Stones, Debbie Barton, Klea Abbott, Bonnie Judd, Lucile Yazzie, Vie Ann Williamson, Wendy Robinson, Alan Robinson, Robert Barton, Dougas Barton, Lee Abbott and David Abbott. Mr. and Mrs. Wilson Lund traveled to Meadow Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Lamar Smith of Cedar City, to spend the day with Mr. and Mrs. Clem Duncan. Mrs. Myrtle Abbott had the misfortune to fall one day last week and received numerous injuries, Including a broken rib, torn ligaments, cuts and bruises. Mrs. Rowena Stones, Mrs. Iras Jones and son Tom were in Panguitch Sunday to visit with the Arthur Patridge family fam-ily and other relatives. Mrs. Freida Franz of Cedar City and a friend were in town one day last week for a visit with Mrs. Iras Jones. Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Topham of St. George were in town Monday to spend the day with Ivan's mother, Mrs. Bertha S. Topham, Mr. and Mrs. Homer Board-man Board-man left for a trip to Denver Mrs, Hllmct Lamoreaux D. Amasa Stones is home again after a few weeks in an Ogden hospital for a check up. He also visited with his son, Milo and family. Mr. Stones mad? the trip home by plane Friday. Sunday family members mem-bers were here from Cedar City to visit him. Mrs. Dean Robinson and her new baby daughter arrived home from the hospital Thursday. Thurs-day. Mrs. Theda Gale of Milford was here Sunday to spend the day with Mr. and Mrs. Renford Talbot and Mr. and Mrs. Orson Or-son Talbot. Mr. and Mrs. Orson Talbot have received word of the arrival ar-rival of another grandchild. A lovely eight pound girl was born to Ardelj and Julie Talbot Tal-bot of Mojava, Calif, on Nov. 12. The baby is to be named Martha Anne. This makes 18 grandchildren grandchild-ren for Orson and Annie and ! evened the score at nine boys and nine girls. Mr. and Mrs. Orson Talbot and Judy traveled to St. George Saturday to spend the day with the Brent Talbot family and to attend the grand opening of the "Dixie Interiors" store. Erent is manager man-ager and part owner in this new business establishment. Miss Mary Jo Montague of Payson and the Robert Orme family of Elberta visited here Saturday and again Sunday with their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. William T. Davenport. Daven-port. Mr. and Mrs. James H. Anderson An-derson accompanied Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Limb of Beaver and their friend, Mrs. Hazlem on a Saturday trip to the Pinto Pin-to area and other places. Mrs. Hazlem is an authority on Indian lore and was enthusiastic enthus-iastic about the Indian writings writ-ings in the area. ( An enthusiastic group of young people and leaders attended at-tended the Youth Conference in Cedar City over the week end. MIA leaders Hazel Jean Robinson and Mrs. Lola Robb, and Myron Abbott of the Bishopric, Bish-opric, took the following Tuesday to take Leah Jean to an eye specialist. Little Cindy White of Summit Sum-mit is here this week with her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. H. Revere Robinson. The parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dee White have gone to Denver in order for Dee to see an eye specialist. Mr. and Mrs. Cluff Jolley and their family of Cedar City Ci-ty were Sunday visitors here with Mr. and Mrs. H. Revere; Robinson. j |
