Both are P.E. Majors at College of Southern Utah and will receive degrees next week. College of So. Utah Phys Ed Majors Student Teach at PHS For the past six weeks two students stu-dents from College of Southern Utah have been doing their student stu-dent teaching at the Parowan High School, both in the field of physical education. Jack Quintana, who is from Lehi, Le-hi, Utah and has spent two years at Snow College and two at CSU has lettered in football at both both Snow College and CSU, and plays a good tennis game. He has helped to establish golf as a part of the PE program during dur-ing his stay here. The second, Max Excel is from Panguitch and besides CSU, has attended BYU and USU. He has also fulfilled a mission for the LDS Church. While here he has worked a great deal in the baseball base-ball program at the local school. He is married and has one child. He will teach at Wendover during dur-ing the coming year. |
