STEVEN MARLYN HEATON Reception Honors Hallman, Heaton Following St. George Temple Rites low rose with salmon carnation corsages. Assisting in the kitchen were Thelma Jones, Jeannie Forsyth, Sharon Webster, Linda Banks, Margaret Wade, Christy Jensen, Lana Bauer, and NaDene Dodge. Kitchen hostesses were Rita Adams, Virginia Randall, Emma Warren, Rachel Hunt, Alice Knight, Connie Nelson, Valaine Bladen, and Cathryn Overson. During the nuptial party, guests were entertained by the background back-ground renditions of Sharon Overson, Linda Adams, Cora Con-die, Con-die, and Thora Porter, who played play-ed piano and organ. Gift room assistants were Virginia and Cheryl Brown with Beverly Schoppman, Irene Payne, and Patsy Heaton. After honeymooning in the Northwestern States where newlyweds new-lyweds planned to visit with one of the bridegroom's sisters, they will return to Cedar City to make their home. Both the bride and bridegroom are seniors at the College of Southern Utah. The j bride, who has served an LDS mission in the Northwestern states, has attended BYU as well I as CSU where she will graduate this year in education. Her husband hus-band served a Southern states mission. He is a business major at CSU. The couple will be feted at an open house to be held at the bridegroom's parent's home in Kanab. Before her marriage, the bride was esteemed by friends who entertained her at a personal per-sonal shower given by Brenda Berrett Orton. President Rudger C. Atkin officiated of-ficiated during the double-ring ceremony Friday, September 9, which united Miss Judy Ann Hallman and Steven Marlyn Heaton in marriage. The St. George LDS Temple was setting for the rites which were followed by a wedding luncheon served buffet style at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Wendell Heaton in Cedar Ce-dar City. Later, the evening of their wedding, wed-ding, the couple was honored at a reception given by the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lister Lis-ter Hallman and held at the Third-Fourth Ward Cultural Hall. Parents of the bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Heaton, Kanab. An original wedding gown designed de-signed and made by the bridegroom's bride-groom's sister, Kay Broadhead, was complete with a five tier veil secured to a headbow. The bow of the veil matched that which accented a detachable train of the gown. Lace flowers with seed pearl centers scolloped the neckline and top of the empire em-pire style dress. The bridal bouquet bou-quet was designed from three large white mums with lily-of-the-valley trim. Bridal attendants were dressed in tones of autumn which were set off by nose gays of yellow flowers and deep brown wheat stalks. Matron of honor, Donna Knight, who is a sister of the bride, wore an orange floor-length floor-length dress in empire style while bridesmaids, Rosiland Farnsworth, Shirley H. Marsh, Rita Brown, Brenda B. Orton, and Carol Lee Heaton. sister of the bridegroom, wore like styles in different colors. Groomsmen were Wendell and Wayne Heaton, and ushers were Boyd Hallman and Richard assisted as-sisted by junior ushers. Charles! Heaton and Jeff Knight. Dale Jensen was gift bearer.
