KENNETH S. MUNFORD Reception Honors Janice Heaton. Ken limlord Folloving Temple Rites St. George LDS Temple was the setting for the wedding of Miss Janice Heaton and Kenneth S. Munford. The double-ring ceremony cer-emony was performed September 2 by Temple President, Rudger C. Atkin. The evening of their marriage the couple was honored at a reception re-ception held in Alton, Utah. Hosting the affair were the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Vard H. Heaton. Parents of the bridegroom, Mr. and Mrs. Robert C. Munford, entertained en-tertained September 10 at an open house in Cedar City at their home. Nuptial attire for the bride was a white satin floor-length gown which featured a fitted bodice bo-dice and a full skirt adorned with ace applicaes centered with seed pearls. A pearl crown secured secur-ed a shoulder-length veil. The bridal bouquet was in a cascade style made from yellow carnations, carna-tions, white mums and ivy. Mrs. Kurt Brinkerhoff was matron ma-tron of honor while Miss Mer-lene Mer-lene Redd and Miss Linda Hea ton acted as bridesmaids. Flower Flow-er girl was petite Katherine Brinkerhoff. Attendants were I dressed in green, brown, gold and ! peach colored gown accented by white mums. Best man was Mr. G. Allen Groyd while ushers were Douglas Doug-las K. Heaton, Orval Palmer and Kurt Brinkerhoff. Mothers of the couple wore fall colored dresses trimmed with gladiolia corsages. In attendance at the open house which was help in the patio gardens at the Munford home were the bride's parents and other family members, Miss Zel-ma Zel-ma Munford, Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Wes-ley Adams and Mr. and Mrs. Mervin Christensen. Following their honeymoon, the newlyweds are making their home in Cedar City where both will continue their education at College of Southern Utah. The bride, who has attended Dixie College, will be a senior at CSU whie her husband will be a junior. jun-ior. He is a member of the Utah National Guard. |
