Show "Teahouse ol the August Moon" To Be Presented at College on May 16, 17and 18 The plight, and eventual trl-ump, trl-ump, of a misplaced Army captain cap-tain stationed on Okinawa after Wo; Id War II is the theme of the College of Southern Utah spring quarter drama production, ' Teahouse Tea-house of the August Moon" to be presented May 16, 17 and 18 in the CSU Auditorium. The play cast will include two oriental beauties who have vied for queen honors at the college. The role of Lotus Blossom will be played by Jennifer Michiko llamal and Miss Higa Oga will be authentically portarayed by CSU drama veteran Kahiki Long. Both coeds are from Hawaii. The role of Sikini, portrayed by Marlon Brando in the film-version film-version of the play, will be played play-ed by Richard Dahl, San Diego, Calif. Lory Misel, Cedar City, is cast as the hapless Captain Fisby and Professor Paul Vorkink of the CSU English department plays the role of Captain Waln-wright Waln-wright III. Other cast members include Phil Pronk, Richard Kidman and Ralph Tullis, Salt Lake City; Cail Palmer, Judy Ashcroft, Elaine Cooper and Morris Wood, Cedar City; Jerry Bragg, Milford, Robert Palmer, Castro Valley, Calif.; Derald Nielson, Bingham; Jim Nelson, Spanish Fork; David Peterson, Richfield; Billy Jensen, Bicknell; Brent Bauer, Murray; David Okerlund, Loa, Wayne County: Virginia Mercer, Paro-wan; Paro-wan; Charlan Hickman, Magna; Karen Leavitt, Sacramento, Cal.; Carolyn Wadsworth. Hurricane; Julie Ann Farrer, Beaver; Katy Ballinger, Las Vegas, Nev. Professor Fred C. Adams is director di-rector of the production with Russ McQuinn, Milford assisting as student director. |
