I wll explain parallel turns In a str'es of steps; however, you must remember that each step Is not a separate movement, but rather a continuous, rhythmical rhyth-mical series that carries you through a turn to the right and then to the left. 1. Start straight down the slope and contiune until you have at-ta1nd at-ta1nd a falrlv high speed. 2. Now lower your knees and hips into a slight crouch 3. Raise out of the crouch and as you raise you will take some of the weight off your skis, at this point. 4. Thrust your heels to the left and allow the tails of your skis to slide on the snow. 5. Now Immediately go Into a slight crouch by lowering your knees and hips. This will automatically auto-matically add weight to your skis and cause your edges to bite Into the snow, thus stopping their side slip motion and com plctlng your right turn.
