Show City Council Okeys Tentative Expenditures Budget At the meeting of the Parowan I ' City Council hold on Monday eve-1 nlng, a tentative budget of city expenditures for the 1961 year was approved and a hearing on said budget was set for noon on Wednesday, Dec. 28, in the city office, according to Mayor How-ard How-ard Joseph. The Mayor states that this year's budget is slightly higher than the I960 budget, caused by the funds set up for the pur- chase of the new city police pa-' pa-' trol car, which also can serve as an ambulance for emergency calls in the area.' t The I960 budget called for the : collection and spending of a to-I to-I tal of $27,592.99, and Mayor Jo-ueph Jo-ueph states that this year's bud- get calles for an Increase of approximately ap-proximately $2,500, In the public safety department.
