Show KANARRAVILLE NEWS NOTES Mrs. Hannah Doris F'tneral services ' for Lillian Williams were held at the Ward Chapel May 1st. Mrs. Williams passed away April 27 at the LDS Hospital In Salt Lake City after heart surgery. Friends and relatives re-latives from near and far were here for the services. Primary Conference was held here Sunday afternoon. Mrs. Naomi Hamilton of the Stake Presidency was in attendance. Adam Seegmlller of the Stake High Council attended Priesthood meeting and Sunday School. Friends and relatives here were very happy to enjoy a visit with Ken Rubeler of Kedondo Beach, Calif. He accompanied Mrs. Loren Higbee here for the funeral of her neice, as Mr. Higbee Hig-bee was unable to attend. He and his sister-in-law from Hurricane, Hur-ricane, Mrs. Mildred Ballard, called on relatives. He and Mrs. Higbee returned to their California Califor-nia home the next morning. Sunday visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Noel Williams were some of their children, Dorothy Stuckl and the Gordon Williams family of Cedar City. Week end visitors here with relatives wee Mr. and Mrs. Lay-ron Lay-ron Christensen and family of Henderson, Nev. Gwen Davis attended a personal per-sonal shower at New Harmony tor Miss Sharlene Prince one evening eve-ning last week. Irene Blunk of St George visited vi-sited with her sister, Mable Williams. Wil-liams. Kthna Williams and daughter Barbara were visitors in Las Vegas, Ve-gas, and Boulder City over the week end. Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Piatt and children of Salt Lake City were week end visitors with his parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Piatt. Hannah Davis, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Delile Davis was home for a short visit from Salt Lake City. Her parents and Shelly traveled to Beaver and met her Saturday evening. They visited there with Kelvin Zohner who teaches there. Visitors with Mr. and Mrs. Glade Berry for a few days were Mr. and Mrs. Gaylen Berry and children of Las Vegas, Mrs. Karla Davis of Riverton, Wyo., and Mrs. Twlla Bryner of Canoga Park, Calif. Miss Mereta Christensen, Henry Hen-ry Blake and Randy Docksteader participated in the talent show held In Cedar City last week. A daughter was born at the Valley View Medical Center to Mr. and Mrs. Bill Hawkins. Many relatives and friends called at the home of Aunt Phebe Davles May 3rd to wish her hap-, py returns on her 89th birthday. She is well and very active. Sunday visitors with her were Mrs. Verna Call and Nona Ipson of Califoria, and Mrs. Keith Smith and daughter Barbara Mocks and girls of Cedar City. Hannah Davis enjoyed a Sunday Sun-day visit from her friends, Mrs. Keith Smith and daughter Bar-j I bara Meeks and girls from Ce-I Ce-I dar City. - Mr. and Mrs. Willard Williams, Amanda Williams and Nancy Riddle traveled to Toquervllle Tuesday, April 30, to see their granddaughter on the Cinderella program on TV at Las Vegas, , Little Lilly Ann Jackson, daugh-I daugh-I ter of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Jackson. Jack-son. Vlstitors here Saturday from Beaver were Suzie Zohner and Kevin at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Leader. Visitors at the houu of Mr. and M.s. WiMard were Melvin Prls-bey, Prls-bey, ft nephew from American Fork, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Jackson Jack-son and children from Las Vegas, Mr. and Mrs. Jlmmle Riddle of Cedar City and Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Mosely of Las Vegas. Hettie Polloch is home after a visit 1 Las Vegas with some of her children. |
