Clyde Stowell Enlists, Starts Basic Training The U. S. Army Recruiting station sta-tion in Provo announces the enlistment en-listment of Clyde Elvin Stowell. son of Mr. and Mrs. Elvin Stowell of Newcastle, into the regular Army. Stowell is currently undergoing basic trairing at Fort Polk, La., afterwhich he will be transfered to Fort Mammoth, N. J., where he will undergo training in Micro-wave radio repair course. He was guaranteed this specific spe-cific training assignment based on physical and aptitude tests at Fort Douglas in December. Stowell is a graduate of Cedar High School.
