Antelope, Elk Moose Application Dates Are Announced Application dates for special antelope, elk, moose and deer permits were listed today by the Utah Department of Fish and Game, as follows; Antelope July 27-Aug. 1. Public d'lwlng Aug. 7. Elk Aug. 8-Aug. 22, except for the Mt Dutton elk unit for which the application dates are July 27-Aug. 1, with public draw. Ing Aug. 7 for Mt. Dutton unit, Sept. 1, for all other elk units. Moose Aug. 8-22. Public drawing Sept. 1. Deer Beginning Aug. 24. Special deer permits will be sold on a first come-first served basis until all are sold. The department reminded once more that only residents may apply for special antelope, elk or moose permits. Special deer permits are open to application by both residents and non-residents. Under the law no one may apply ap-ply for or possess any kind of special big game permit without first purchasing a regular big game or combination license.
