Show Local Association to Survey Gains at Bryce Associated Civic Clubs of Southern and Eastern Utah will commemorate the establishment of Bryce Canyon as a national monument at a meeting In the Park Saturday, Sept. 26 at 2 p. m., according to Clyde E. These men are J. W. Humphrey, Hum-phrey, Ephralm, and Frank G. Martines, Richfield. Mr. Humphrey Hum-phrey also is a forester at Pan-guitch. Pan-guitch. Bryce Superintendent Glen Bean will also be a featured speaker. The Saturday afternoon meeting meet-ing will be held in the new Bryce Canyon Visitor's Center at 2 p. m. The banquet will be held at Ruby's Inn. Overnight accommodations accommo-dations will be at Ruby's Inn also, as the facilities for overnight over-night guests are closed at Bryce. Sunday, Supt. Bean will take the delegates on a guided tour of the Canyon. He will explain the progress which has been made under the Mission 66 program, pro-gram, and the projects which are planned to be ' finished before 1966. ,. v Subjects to be discussed at the afternoon meeting include: road development in, southern Utah, and other items of importance to that area. The general public Is invited to the afternoon meeting and to the evening banquet, and to the guided tour on Sunday. |
