Show Adult Education Classes To Begin Soon The Adult Education committee commit-tee of the Cedar City Coordinating Coordinat-ing Council is this week announcing announc-ing registration for the Iron County sponsored classes. Registration Regis-tration will be held Friday night Sept. 25, from 7 to 9 p. m. in the Junior High library. According to Winnona Cowan, chairman, an effort is being made to enlarge the variety of classes taught Many classes in horaemaking skills and crafts have been popular for many years and will undoubtedly be taught again this year. The committee com-mittee would like also to sponsor classes In academic subjects such as English and political science. Classes will be taught one night a week for a minimum of ten weeks. The only requirement is a class of ten interested adults. After the registration Friday night a class will be organized in each of the subjects for which ten people register. It will be necessary to charge a small fee for all classes this year. Classes suggested by the committee com-mittee are: Sewing, $3; tailoring, tailor-ing, $3; knitting, $5; household carpentry, $3; wood re-finishing, $3; lapidary, $5; photography, $5; choral directing, $3; Milady, your figure, $3; physical education and folk dancing for couples, $3; per person; upholstery, $3; painting paint-ing for fun, $5; English, $5; political poli-tical science, $5; current events, $5; mother and child care, $3; and first aid, $3. Meat cookery will be sponsored by the PTA as a continuation of the highly successful class held last year. Other classes not suggested may taught if ten people register for them.
