Show Delegation of Local Kiwanians Will Attend Confab i Kenneth I). Lobeed The Klwanis Club of Cedar City will be represented at the 1958 convention of the Utah-Idaho District of Kiwanis International at Logan on Aug. 30 to Sept. 1, Neal Carter, club president, announced an-nounced today. Local delegates to the convention conven-tion will be Carter, Lee Empey, York Jones, V. J. Clove, Frank Milne and Richard Morris. Kenneth B. Loheed, newly elected president of Kiwanis I ternational, a Toronto, Can., businessman, bus-inessman, will be a featured speaker at the three-day meeting ir the Ur.icn Euildir. at Uth State University. Also on hand will be Reed C. Culp of Salt Lake City, a past international president. presi-dent. Presiding officer will be Ace S. Raymond, governor of the Utah-Idaho Utah-Idaho District. Raymond Is a general contractor In Logan. Delegates from 57 clubs representing repre-senting about 3200 business and professional leaders will participate partici-pate in the various sessions. Committee Com-mittee conferences, a discussion of plans for the coming year, and the election of officers will highlight high-light the convention program, Carter said. |
