Show High School Career Day Activities Outlined for Thursday Career Day atCedar City High Sviiuui will ue murstiay ii was announced this week by Robert E. Lee, president of the sponsoring sponsor-ing Key Club. Keynote speaker at the daylong day-long event will be Gerald Godfrey, God-frey, manager of the Cedar City office of the Mountain States Telephone and Telegraph Co. The key note address will be made at the opening assembly to be held at 8:50 a. m. Following the assembly students stu-dents will participate in classes of their choices by members of the Armed Force and byrepre-sentatives byrepre-sentatives of colleges througout Utah and the nation. Lee indicated that in addition to the Utah ' Colleges represnta-tives represnta-tives from Massachusetts Institute Insti-tute of Technology and the George Washington University will be in attendance. During the afternoon there will be available for students approximately ap-proximately 42 different classes representative of approximately 22 professional groups available for students. Classes will range from coaching to nearly all major ma-jor professional groups. Career Day has become a popular pop-ular activity on the Cedar High School campus and affords students stu-dents an opportunity to talk with professional people about their i respective occupations the op- J portunlties and rewards. |
