Show Induction Call Shifted by Selective Service A change in orders for Iron I County men to report for induction induc-tion into military service in December De-cember has resulted In the postponement post-ponement of induction for one man and another ordered to report. re-port. Farron O. Heap, formerly of Parowan .but now making hU home in Salt Lake City, was one of four men ordered to report on Dec. 4. However, serious Illness In his family has resulted In the postponement of his induction. He reported the situation to the state headquarters of Selective Service, and after investigation the local board was Instructed to delay Heap's induction and to call another man to complete the four-man quota from the county. As a result Clark HirschI, Cedar Ce-dar City, has been ordered to report. HirschI graduated from U S A C last June and only la week accepted a teaching position posi-tion in the Cedar City High School, to start on Nov. 26. The other three men who will report for induction with HirschI Hir-schI are Rodney R. Rowley, Parowan; Paro-wan; Collins Smith, Cedar City, and John M. McGarry, Beryl-Two Beryl-Two other men, Vernon Condie Cedar City, and Larry P. Morten-sen, Morten-sen, formerly of Parowan who is now residing in Provo, will report re-port for pre-lnduction physica' examinations on the same date. |
