Show County Teacher Assn. Sponsors Mid-Year Institute The public relations and ethics committees of the Iron County Teachers'.Association have made preparations for the association's mid-year institute, to be held Saturday, Feb. 11 at the South Elementary School in Cedar City. Arrangements have been made for Alan West and Dorothy Zimmerman, Zim-merman, executive secretary and assistant secretary, respectively, of the Utah Education Association, Associa-tion, to appear as featured speakers speak-ers on the program. Institute will begin at 9 a. m. and the afternoon session will begin at 1 p. m., according to Eugene Holman, president of the association. Mr. West will address the morning session of the institute on the subject of school legislation legis-lation and a panel discussion will follow. MembeTs of the panel to discuss the effects of legislation legisla-tion in Iron County, include: Ianthus Wright, superintend!..;. t; Norman Romberger and Mr. Holman. Hol-man. A question and answer period per-iod will follow the discussion. Miss Zimmerman will conduct the afternoon session and will direct a discussion on the code of ethics for teachers. |
