Show l 1 v CLASSES AND SOCIETIES SOCIETIES- I v f 1 to College College- JUNIOR CLASS i The Junior Class held a short business business business busi busi- ness meeting last Thursday A program committee consisting of the president and vice-president vice was appointed It was decided that the Juniors invite the Seniors to join with them in giving an entertainment on Washington's birthday w CLASS OF 99 The class held a public meeting last Monday when a very interesting program program program pro pro- gram was rendered The class has now taken its place at the head of the literary organizations of the school a place which it held all last year Next Wednesday evening February 9 an evening meeting will be held at which Gov Wells will speak Owing to a typographical error in last issue the name of the president as It is Mr C. M Ridges 00 The spread on June 28 was the most enjoyable in the history of the class It was a grand success as a class meeting and enthusiasm was every everywhere where apparent The president Mr Grover gave an an address address address ad ad- dress of welcome Miss Alice Driggs gave the past history of the class Mr gave a short speech on the present condition Miss Anna Peterson gave the prognostication After this dancing was indulged in The decorations were very elaborate tables covered with fruits were arranged in the hall Bunting and flags were hung from the ceiling the whole presenting presenting presenting present present- ing a very pleasing appearance A meeting was called by Pr President Grover to discuss on We Wednesday last the challenge from B. C Kimball was elected general manager of class teams The first practice was held on Friday at which very lively and scientific 1 work was done Normal Society At the last meeting a match debate was held with the Delta Phi The debaters debaters de de- de debaters baters were Mr J.
