Show j NEWS FROM SUMMIT j Mrs. Danno Daranport A group of students from Col-1 lege of Southern Utah gave a most Interesting program in Sacrament Sac-rament meeting Sunday. Miss Patricia Humpherys of Salt Lake City, who was home for a week end visit with he family, the Hyrum Humphreys, also talked. Summit Ward was the Host Ward for Ue Stake Laurel's "Night of Fashion", which was held March 21st The Laurels, their mothers and the leaders were in attendance and had a most enjoyable evening. Mrs. Ada Carpenter and a group of girls from College of Southern Utah, put on a fashion show. i They demonstrated the proper and improper way 'to dress. Miss Lynn Grimshaw gave a demonstration demon-stration on hair care, and Mrs. Lucile Murle of Enoch demonstrated demon-strated the proper use of makeup make-up and skin care. At the close of the evening the Stake leaders served refreshments. Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Walkers and son Robert traveled to Salt Lake City over the week end. They stopped overnight in Springville to visit with Mrs. Twlla Newberry and family. . Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hulet was here from Parowan Saturday Satur-day to spend some time with their . daughter, Mrs. Bertraid Dalley and family. Mr. and Mrs. Arden Richards and daughters Kay and Myra and Mrs. Richard's mother, Mrs. Leona Smith, traveled to St George and Santa Clara Saturday, Satur-day, where they spent most enjoyable en-joyable day. While there they visited with Mrs. Hulda Peterson. Visitors at the Bertrand Dalley home this past week was a sister, sis-ter, Mrs. Jeanette Bayles, her son Phil and daughter Mrs. Joan Jerome and four children of Parowan. Par-owan. Two of the Jerome children, chil-dren, Michael and Jerl, were overnight guests. The Dalleys had as dinner guest Sunday, their ncice, Mrs. Linda Holds-worth Holds-worth of Cedar City. They also received word from their nephew Hal Cowdell in Los Angeles, had been released from military service ser-vice after two years with the Army Medical, Corps. The ladies of the birthday club met at the home of Mrs. LaRue White Monday, where they spent a most enjoyable evening visit ing and sewing. Delicious re. freshments were served by Mrs. White, Mrs. Marjorie Evans and Mrs. Lydia Morton. The ladles honored this month were Mm. Shirley White, Mrs. Blllye Hum-pherys Hum-pherys and Mrs. Norma Stapley. Arriving here from Murray Saturday Sa-turday were Mrs. Dee El Stap-ley's Stap-ley's mother, Mrs. Elden Neiisen, and a brother, Von Nielsen and his wife.
