Show Photography Exhibit Features f Local Portrait Artist "Photograpny as One of the Fine Arts" will be the theme of a salon and exhibit planned at the College of Southern Utah beginning be-ginning Sunday, March 12 at 5 p. m. Dr. Royden C. Braithwaite, director of CSU, announced that camera portrait artist Homer Jones, Cedar City professional photographer, will be honored with the display of nearly 75 of his finest pieces of woik. The 5 p. m. program will feature fea-ture an address on the theme by Prof. Gaell Llndstrom, Utah State University staff member of the College of Fine Arts. The exhibit will then be open to the public until 9 p. m. Sunday evening and every day thereafter until Wednesday, March 22. Assisting in the exhibit of por-traits por-traits finished in sepia, burnished burnish-ed silver and hand tinted are Mrs. Betty Carlton, Miss Flora Munford and Boyd Reddington, Mr. Jones' staff members at his Cedar City studio. |
